November is World Vegan Month - a time to share ideas, knowledge, advice and recipes (oh there are so many amazing vegan recipes out there!) and to recognise how far veganism has come. It gives the curious non-vegans a peek at how accessible and beneficial a vegan lifestyle can be and gives vegans the chance to celebrate the amount of variety that’s out there – there are so many vegan options to choose from now.
We’ve rounded up some of our favourite vegan Instagram accounts this month… and oh was it tough - we have so many that we love so we’ll have to do another round up next month too! Here are just some of our favourites at the moment… …
The Little Blog of Vegan @thelittleblogofvegan
Before I say anything about this Instagram feed, know this – the recipes provided by award-winning owner Holly Jade are so easy to make! A favourite here at Story 81 HQ, I’ve tried the vegan & gluten-free "Nutella" & banana filled pastry parcels but they were demolished before I could take any pictures/evidence. You can just see the amount of love Holly Jade puts into the recipes and the photography - she is a three-time award winning vegan recipe, beauty, advice, lifestyle blogger and has won ‘Food Blogger of the Year 2017’. Love, love, love the recipes. Check out The Little Blog of Vegan's Instagram feed here.
Votch is the vegan leather watch company that gives back and they are PETA approved! Founded by Laura (and her gorgeous dog Rolo!) following a serious health condition which led her to change some of her lifestyle choices, Laura went on to set up Votch. They do a gorgeous range of cruelty-free watches with interchangeable straps so you can change things up depending on your preferred colour combination. Check out Votch's Instagram feed here.
This is your visual guide for vegan food and lifestyle options available to Londoners, and founder Serena curates a tempting set of posts which are guaranteed to make you drool! So beware: This account will make you hungry! Check out their Instagram feed here.
Wax and Wick Workshop @wandwworkshop
We recently stumbled across this brand and fell so in love with their vegan soy candles, we decided to stock them - available here! Danish by design but handmade in the UK, owner Nicole makes these candles from re-purposed wine bottles. The scents are gorgeous and last for ages - a good find for those wanting a vegan alternative to traditional wax candles. Check out their Instagram here.
The online diary of vegan travel and style blogger Tilly-Jayne is a must-see, offering a carefully selected set of styling options that are cruelty-free, while at the same time providing a peek into Tilly-Jayne’s envy-educing travel camera-roll. Check out Tilly-Jayne's Instagram feed here, as well as her blog here.
